Commands

Grouped by what they do. Everything is a slash command.

You never need this page to use Vibe: /help shows the same list inside Discord, browsable by category. This one exists so you can read it before adding the bot, and link straight to a single command.

Playing

Start something playing, or see what already is

Join a voice channel and run /play with a song name or a link to a song, and Vibe queues it and starts. /search shows the results first so you can pick one. /watch opens the live player inside Discord: artwork, a seek bar you can drag and the whole queue, in sync for everyone in the channel.

  • /play

queue a song by name or link. /p is the same thing, shorter

  • /watch

open the live player everyone in the channel can see and control

  • /lyrics

    lyrics for whatever is playing

  • /nowplaying

what's playing right now, with a progress bar

Controls

Skip, seek, loop, and shape how it sounds

Playback controls follow the server's DJ rules. With a DJ role set in /config, pausing, seeking, volume, looping and filters belong to people with that role, to anyone with Manage Server, and to whoever is alone in the channel with the bot. Skipping is open to everyone: without a DJ role it starts a vote, and it is the same vote whether it is cast with /skip or from the player.

  • /pause

pause, or unpause if already paused

  • /resume

start playing again after a pause

  • /stop

stop everything and clear the queue. /leave does the same

  • /seek

jump to a timestamp, like 1:30

  • /rewind

go back 15 seconds, or however far you ask

  • /forward

skip ahead 15 seconds, or however far you ask

  • /replay

start the current track again from the beginning

  • /last

add the track before this one to the queue again

  • /loop

repeat one track, the whole queue, or nothing

  • /volume

set how loud Vibe plays, 0 to 200

  • /filter

Bass Boost, Nightcore, Vaporwave, 8D and more. Combinable

Queue

See what's lined up, and change the order

Everyone in the voice channel shares one queue. /queue shows what is coming up page by page, and /move, /remove, /clear and /shuffle change it. Whatever changes it, the queue in /watch updates for everyone straight away. There, anyone can also boost a queued track with the arrow on its row: a boost counts as a vote, and a DJ's boost moves the track straight to next.

  • /queue

everything lined up, page by page

  • /history

    what already played this session

  • /shuffle

randomise the order of what's queued

  • /move

move one track to a different position

  • /remove

drop a single track from the queue

  • /clear

empty the queue but keep the current track playing

Liked

Save what you like, and see what you've listened to

Your liked songs and playlists, and your listening stats, belong to you rather than to a server, so they follow you wherever you use Vibe. /like saves what is playing, /liked plays, shuffles or tidies the list, and /rank draws a card with your listening time, daily streak, level and badges.

  • /like

like the current song, or search for a song to like

  • /unlike

remove the current song from your liked songs

  • /liked

play, shuffle or tidy your liked songs

  • /playlist

build your own playlists from any mix of songs, and play them — or, in a server with one, add to its own — and its managers can post one in a channel with /playlist show. /playlist import copies a public playlist or album link into one, and /playlist open opens a playlist someone shared with you by its code, to copy or to follow

  • /rank

your listening time, streak, level and badges

  • /leaderboard

    this server's top listeners

Server

Set Vibe up for this server, plus everything else

/config keeps every server setting in one place, in four tabs (Access, Playback, Messages and Streaming): DJ roles, which voice channels Vibe may join, a commands channel, an audit log, whether it announces what is playing, the small tips it shows, autoplay, and a link to a now-playing overlay for streamers. Changing settings and /block need Manage Server. Nothing has to be configured for Vibe to work, and /privacy shows or deletes the data Vibe keeps about you.

  • /247

what Vibe Premium includes, and whether you have it
