  • It doesn't fall over

    When a track fails, Vibe tries elsewhere before giving up. When an audio server dies mid-song, it moves to a spare and picks up where it was.

  • Your stats are yours

    Listening time, streak, level and badges follow you between servers. On your profile you can pick the colours of your rank card and player.

  • For streamers

    Turn on the now-playing overlay in /config and use its link as an OBS browser source. It shows the title, artist and artwork, and nothing else.

Questions people ask.

Is Vibe a free Discord music bot?

Yes. The music is free: what Vibe plays, which services it plays from and how it sounds are the same for everybody, with no ads and nothing locked behind voting.

How do I add Vibe to my server?

Use the Add to Discord button and pick your server. You need the Manage Server permission there, which is Discord's rule. Vibe works the moment it joins, with nothing to configure first.

How do I play music?

Join a voice channel and run /play with a song name or a link to a song. Everyone in the channel shares one queue.

What is /watch?

A live player that opens inside Discord, in the voice channel: artwork, a seek bar you can drag, and the whole queue, in sync for everyone. Run /watch while you're in a voice channel.

What permissions does Vibe ask for, and can it read my messages?

Five: View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Connect and Speak. It asks for no privileged intents and cannot read your messages.

Can I control who is allowed to skip or pause?

Yes. Set a DJ role with /config and it covers the player as well as the commands. Skipping is a vote for everyone else, and the same vote whichever way it is cast.

Does my listening history follow me between servers?

Yes. Your listening time, streak, level, badges and saved songs belong to you, not to a server. What Vibe stores, and how to see or delete it, is in the privacy policy.
